Wilsonart Metalaminates

Wilsonart Metalaminates are designed for vertical interior applications where a special accent is required or a special mood is desired. The surface of Wilsonart Metalaminates is that of fine finished metal. The genuine metal material is appropriate for vertical areas in retail facilities, hotel and office lobbies, theatres and restaurants, where its special eye-catching properties add a definite prestigious appeal. Wilsonart Metalaminates are composed of a coloured aluminium decorative layer pressed over kraft paper core sheets impregnated with phenolic resin. The decorative aluminium sheet is either anodised or epoxy coated to resist tarnishing. Finished sheets are trimmed and the backs sanded to facilitate bonding.

Wilsonart Decorative Metals

Wilsonart Decorative Metals are designed for vertical interior and ceiling applications where a specific accent is required or a special mood is desired. The surface of Decorative Metals is that of a fine finished metal. The genuine metal material is appropriate for vertical areas in retail facilities, hotel and office lobbies, theatres and restaurants, where its special eye-catching properties add a definite prestigious appeal. These materials can also add a bright touch when used as cladding or accent trim in custom furniture.

Product composition:

Type 414 : Galvalume Steel.

A 26-gauge steel sheet featuring a galvalume finish. The steel is coated with an aluminium-zinc alloy, and then protected with a clear acrylic coating both sides. The metal features a decorative faceted finish on both sides - usable 2 sides.

Type 416 : Artisan Group.

Non-anodised aluminium alloy panels feature textured designs in 2 patterns applied from border to border, creating a dimensional appearance. Panels are coated with a clear resin to prevent oxidation and protect the beauty of the design.

Type

A solid sheet of aluminium is produced with a decorative, anodised finish and colour on one side. The back sheet is prepared to facilitate bonding to a suitable substrate.
